First I must admit that NAPSAC days were some of the most enjoyable years of my life. From the cold Milo at the end of the race to being able to do multiple events; NAPSAC was the place to be!  NAPSAC brought future teammates and school mates together from early. It was an atmosphere of fun, and where new leaps and jumps were turned into records and stepping stones for amazing future stars.

My most memorable moment at NAPSAC was the high jump. It was the first year I started to high jump and realized this was one of my many "callings”. I broke the record in the semi-finals and went on to break it on the final day! I can still hear the chants of my teachers, fellow schoolmates and supportive parents chanting my name and school song. What an amazing feeling for a 10 year old. In that limited moment I felt elevated and believed anything was possible. That day will remain as one of my eye opening moments. It feels amazing that those little dreams I had then are turning into a reality.

To each child, coach and parent I urge you to never stop believing in your dream. The path to success is rocky and many times you will not see the finish or know how you will make it there, but in those moments are where true champions stand up and fight.

Last but not least don't ever let anyone persuade you to change your dream. The dream is yours and you are the ultimate leader towards that goal. Don't let age ,race, nationality or school hinder you from reaching your goals. Believe in your dream, work hard towards it and let your dream become a reality.
